Hello, I’m Andrea Kennedy.

I’m a Reiki Master Teacher, mentor, and spiritual channel who has been practicing Reiki since 1995 — and exploring spirituality ever since.

Like most people, I consider myself pretty “mainstream.” Yet I’ve always been deeply curious about the big questions of who we are and why we’re here. My background in physics gave me a scientific lens, but it was Reiki that opened the door to experiences that reshaped my understanding of energy and consciousness.

I started Reiki with skepticism, not feeling much myself, but the feedback I received from others kept me curious. A pivotal trip to Egypt later nudged me to complete my Reiki Master training in 1999, and from there I began to trust the energy and let go of over-analysis. Reiki became my foundation, even as I explored many other modalities and teachings.

Over the years, I’ve offered thousands of Reiki sessions, taught students worldwide, and created spaces for learning and community — including the Mainstream Reiki YouTube channel, the Mainstream Reiki Community, and now What Resonates?, formerly known as Beyond the Reiki Gateway.

Today, through this podcast, I invite you to join me in exploring energy, intuition, and spirituality in ways that are grounded, practical, and real. Alongside fascinating guests, we’ll discover new perspectives and ask the deeper questions that help us discern what resonates — so we can live more aligned with who we truly are.
